Coach Shellenberger holds a FIH Level II Coaching Certification and a Level III Coaching Certification from US Field Hockey. For 7 years she served as the Head Futures Coach at Site 5B, only 1 of 2 Level 1 Futures sites in the state of Pennsylvania.

In the fall of 2016, Coach Shellenberger was named as the US Field Hockey Coach of the Year by topofthecircle.com. 

In February of 2018, Coach Shellenberger ran a Level I Coaching Course for US Field Hockey at Donegal High School alongside former National Team Coach, Craig Parnham and Moravian College Head Coach, Sarah Darymple.

In the summer of 2018, Coach Shellenberger was the leading scorer for the O35 Women's National Team in the Masters World Cup. She led the team with 5 goals and 3 assists in 7 games.

 

On March 16, 2019, Coach Shellenberger was named as US Field Hockey's People's Choice 2019 National Field Hockey Coach of the Year! Coach was honored at the US Field Hockey Summit.

Coach Shellenberger also has a broadcasting resume! She was the color commentator for both the 2019 & 2021 Division III National Championships and called the Louisville v. UNC game for the ACC Network in September of 2021.

Since the fall of 2022, Coach Shellenberger has been the head high school coach at Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA. In just two years, she has put the program on the map as one of the top in the state. Her overall record jumped to 353-65-10 in her two years with MTFH, leading them to 45 wins, 9 losses and 1 tie, which includes back to back Section 1 Titles and this year's League and District 3 Titles. Township's season came to an end this fall with a 1-0 loss in the AAA state final. Congratulations to Coach Shellenberger and her team!

Jessica Rose Shellenberger is a 1999 graduate of Warwick High School where she was Warwick's first high school All American. She accepted a full athletic scholarship to play field hockey at the University of Michigan where she was an All Big Ten selection, an All American and a National Champion.

Upon graduation from the University of Michigan, she was hired at Donegal High School as a Health and Physical Education teacher and the Varsity field hockey coach in 2004.

She lives in Manheim Township with her husband Pete and two children, Evan (13) and Emma (11).

Coach Shellenberger is currently a Health & PE Teacher at Manheim Township High School, in Lancaster, PA.
